About Our Company

The Whole Well, From Drilling to the Tap

D.N. Drilling is a water well company that started in Clayton and now runs out of a Vineland shop, working all of South Jersey. Our crew works the rigs every day. We drill new wells for homes, farms and businesses, repair and replace pumps, set pressure tanks, seal old wells to state standards, and fix the water itself when the test says it needs help. The crew carries more than ten years of drilling experience, and the phone is answered around the clock.

What You Can Expect

How a Job With D.N. Drilling Runs

From the first look at the property to water proven at your tap, here is exactly how it goes.

1

Call the Office

A real person answers, takes what is happening at the house, and gets you on the schedule. A no-water emergency moves to the front of the line, whatever day of the week it is.

2

Look and Price

We check the property and the state well records for your block, then give you a free estimate with a real number. Depth, casing and pump size set the cost, so we look before we quote.

3

Do the Work

The rig or the service truck shows up when we said. Permits are filed before drilling starts, and the owners are on the machines. Anything unexpected down the hole, you hear about it right away.

4

Prove the Water

The job ends with proof: yield checked, pressure holding, and the water tested. You get the paperwork, and the well record goes to the state. If anything acts up after, you call the same number.

FAQ

Questions Well Owners Ask Us Most

The questions South Jersey well owners ask before they hire. Yours not here? Call. You will be talking to the people who do the work.

Call (856) 207-7373

Do you really answer 24/7?
Yes. A house with no water cannot wait for Monday, so the phone answers around the clock, weekends included. Most no-water calls trace to the pump, the pressure switch or the tank, and we diagnose on site before anything gets replaced.
What does a new well cost?
Depth drives the number, along with casing footage and the pump and tank the house needs. Shallow sand wells on the mainland price differently than the deeper coastal wells in Cape May County. We check the well records for your block and the estimate is free.
Do you handle the NJDEP well permit?
Yes. New Jersey requires an NJDEP well permit before any drilling starts, and the work has to be done by a state licensed well driller. We file the permit before the rig shows up and file the well record with the state when the job is done.
What areas do you cover?
All of South Jersey. We run out of Vineland and Clayton and work Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem, Atlantic, Camden and Cape May counties, from Deptford at the north end down to the shore. A large share of our work is in Cape May County.
My water stains fixtures and smells. Can you fix that?
Almost always. South Jersey well water commonly runs acidic with iron, which stains orange and eats copper pipe, and some wells carry a sulfur smell. We test the water first, then size an acid neutralizer, iron filter, softener or UV unit to what the test actually shows.
Do you service pumps you did not install?
Yes. Most of the pumps we repair were installed by someone else, some of them decades ago. We work on submersible and jet pumps from the common brands, and when a part is obsolete we tell you what fits and what it costs.
